A Massachusetts Christmas

Some photos of the tree at my sister’s house.  My parents have a fake tree (bleh) so it was fun to have Christmas with a real one this year, and the ornaments are super neat too.

The photos might look strange, because I played around with different settings on my camera.  I’m still trying to improve my picture-taking skills (or lack thereof) so I figure the best way to do it is to take about a million of them.

  • My cat Ozzy likes to eat Christmas trees…so I have none. Not fun when he snacks on a ton of pine needles and then vomits it up….sorry for the details. He does it with the fake Christmas trees too. He rules my life.

I’m the same way with my camera…I’ll take 10 pictures of the same thing and end up deleting the 9 that didn’t quite work.

When I was little, our family cat would climb the real Christmas tree. Like seriously scale the whole thing. After that, we never had a real tree again.

I love that avocado ornament! I must find one for my tree. I’m the same way with my parents’ fake tree…though, I didn’t even get a tree for my house this year, real or not…so I guess I can’t complain.

My sister said she believes that ornament came from a company called Old World Christmas, which you can find all over. Happy Hunting!
